Arguably the finest interpretation of the iconic Aston Martin DB9, HWM Aston Martin are proud to offer to market this remarkable and immaculate example of the DB9 GT V12 Bond Edition. The Bond Edition takes the stunning Aston Martin DB9 GT as its starting point but then adds plenty Bond exclusivity throughout the whole vehicle. The 150 hand crafted examples were only available in Spectre Silver, a colour unique to this model and all examples had the sublime 20” 10-spoke gloss black wheels which feature the diamond-turned finish. The carbon-fibre front splitter and rear diffuser and dark Zircotec tailpipe finishers add a touch of stealth to the rear. The Stirling silver hallmarked wing badges curated and produced by Vaughtons and only ever seen on the Centenary editions, add extra distinction and there are 007 Bond Edition exterior badges, numbered 007 sill plaques to make each driver and passenger fully aware of the which vehicle they are getting into. The interior is hand-crafted in Obsidian Black leather with a full-length carbon-fibre fascia and the moody ambience is somehow lifted by accents of Argento Grey welt and Galena Silver stitching. The seat design and headlining with its straight fluting recalls that of classic Aston Martins. The effect is restrained, impeccably tailored and timelessly elegant. The Bond Edition nomenclature is hand embroidered on the front headrests as well as the Bond Edition symbol on the rear console. As with Bond’s DB10 in Spectre, the steering wheel derives from the One-77 supercar and is covered in Obsidian leather with Pure Black Alcantara inserts. As if the engine soundtrack was not enough, the 1000w B&O audio system will feel like a brand new experience every time you turn it on. The piece de resistance with this example is that the special handover case crafted in blue box-grained leather with a Jacquard lining, an exclusive Omega Seamaster special edition watch, Bollinger Champagne and giftbox and 007 car cover remain untouched and in their original wrapping.
