Vehicle Technician - HWM Aston Martin

HWM Aston Martin, is seeking to recruit an exceptional Vehicle Technician to support our busy Aftersales operations.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Vehicle Technician to join our team at HWM Aston Martin based in Walton on Thames, Surrey. You will play a vital role in our day to day operations by supporting the Aftersales function in the inspection, maintenance and repair of Aston Martin vehicles. Reporting to the Workshop Controller, this exciting role offers the opportunity to work within an established team at our business to deliver the servicing and repair requirements of our customers vehicles as well as preparing vehicles for sale to a high standard. This role will provide the right candidate with a varied and autonomous part to play within HWM where no two days look the same. This role is offered on a permanent, full time basis.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Servicing, Maintenance and Fault Diagnosis
• Ensure jobs are scheduled and completed to a high standard and within required time frames
• Complete all paperwork and manufacturer communication on time and to a comprehensive level
• Accurate input of data to our dealership management systems
• Be consistent, professional and clear with Customer Communications both face to face and via Video
• Ensure vehicle movements are completed to the highest safety standards and in line with road laws

Required Skills and Experience

You will have a full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points and possess the following skills:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in motor mechanics or similar
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools to identify the source of issues
• Organisation and time management to plan tasks and schedules
• Ability to absorb written and verbal instructions quickly and with accuracy
• To be within reasonable commuting distance of our operation in Walton on Thames, Surrey
• Be able to deliver consistent attention to detail whilst finding innovative solutions to challenging issues
