Vehicle Valeter - HWM of Walton on Thames

HWM Aston Martin, is seeking to recruit an experienced Valeter to support our busy Sales and Service operations.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and organised Valeter to join our team at HWM Aston Martin based in Walton on Thames, Surrey. You will play a vital role in our day to day operations by supporting our Sales and Service teams in the valeting and aesthetic preparation of a variety of motor vehicles. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this exciting role offers the opportunity to work with different departments within the business to organise and deliver on the weekly valeting schedule and provides you with a varied and autonomous part to play within HWM where no two days look the same. This role is offered on a permanent, full time basis.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales and Service teams in Customer Vehicle Preparation
• Ensure jobs are scheduled and completed within required time frames
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness of Stock Vehicles on display
• Undertake completion of various site maintenance tasks
• Manage stock levels and safe storage of cleaning equipment and materials
• Ensure vehicle movements are completed to the highest safety standards and in line with road laws

Required Skills and Experience

You will have a full clean UK driving licence and possess the following skills:

• A keen eye for detail
• A strong understanding of Valeting and/or vehicle preparation
• Organisation and time management to plan tasks and schedules
• To be adaptable and to think laterally to complete a moving work schedule
• To be able to work proactively within a friendly team to achieve positive outcomes
• Basic DIY skills
